Apple iOS 4.2 Beta is Available for iPad (Video)

Currently in the iOS Developer Center, iOS Beta 4.2 is available for download for iPad, iPhone, and iPod. An update will come soon on the bug fixes and features that come with 4.2.

The biggest new feature for iPhone, and iPod touch is AirPrint. AirPrint allows users to print via a shared printer. This function is only available for iOS users with mutli-tasking. Therefore, iPhone 3G users will not be able to print.

Many of the features that iPhone and iPod users already enjoy are brought to the iPad with 4.2 Beta. These features include folders and multitasking. Just like on current devices that run iOS 4, users can run tasks from compatible applications in the background, and manage those applications by double-tapping the home button.
