Certification

Whether you are holding out for the Droid Prime (SCH-I515) or Nexus Prime (GT-I9250), both handsets are very real and Verizon upcoming Ice Cream Sandwich offering has just received its WiFi and Bluetooth certification.

Sure, there is little interesting about a handset receiving its WiFi and Bluetooth certification but these less than interesting certifications make way for the more juicy news. What will likely be the answer to the Galaxy S II on Sprint, T-Mobile, and ATT, as well as the upcoming iPhone 5, the Droid Prime is expected to launch around October, ready to do battle.

With the Bionic set to launch in a few days, Verizon will likely give Motorola offering some breathing room as the go-to LTE handset. A lot of people have been waiting for Motorola dual-core/LTE handset, but with the Droid Prime on the way, we are inclined to pass.
