PlayStation Phone launch On 9th,December 2010

The idea of a PlayStation phone is nothing new, its been rumoured pretty much since Sony Ericsson was formed nine years ago. Recently though the rumour was brought back to life with various leaked shots of an alleged prototype that Engadget managed to get their hands on.

That's all very well and good and we even had Bert Nordberg recently dropping some hints that a PlayStation phone was indeed on the cards. The big question then is when?

Well a picture of a press invitation from French SE boss Pierre Perron has surfaced and, if its authentic, seems to suggest a 9th December announcement.

The invitation says:

"Pierre Perron and his team invite you to the most anticipated presentation of the past 10 years… Thursday, December 9th, at 8pm."

Note the inclusion of the PlayStation buttons alongside one representing a phone! Again its circumstantial, if this invite is for real, but it all adds more fuel to an already very well lit fire.
