Verizon Wireless is set to introduce two Android smartphones next month that are pretty much guaranteed to make geeks from sea to shining sea jizz in their pants. First up,the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which we have been hearing rumors about for quite a few months now. Its going to be the first smartphone to run Google next version of Android, Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), which we will know plenty more about in less than 50 hours thanks to an official Google event that will be live streamed from Hong Kong. Besides running ICS, the Galaxy Nexus is also set to sport a massive 4.6 inch screen that pushes 1280 x 720 pixels. That puts it in AppleiPhone 4/4S territory in terms of pixels per inch. Underneath all that glass will be a dual core processor 1.2 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a camera that will we are hearing conflicting reports about its either 5 megapixels or 8 megapixels.

Next up is the HTC Rezound, which many folks recognize as the Vigor. Its a Gingerbread smartphone, making it incredibly unattractive due to ICS being right around the corner, and like the Galaxy Nexus it will have a screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. To be incredibly blunt, we could care less about the Rezound since HTC's Sense UI makes us want to go to a fancy restaurant, smash some wine glasses to rouse everyone attention, and then shove those sharp crystal stems right into our eyes. The Galaxy Nexus on the other hand will deliver the pure Android experience, which will make it the best Android smartphone until... well, until the next Nexus hits the scene.

Both will be announced on November 10th, both will be sold for an astonishing $300 with a 2 year contract!
