Samsung wants to see the iPhone 4S source code

The ongoing legal battle between Samsung and Apple took a new turn as Samsung legal team has demanded Apple to hand over iPhone 4S firmware source code and agreement details that Apple has struck with major Australian carriers.

The source code will allow Samsung to assess potential patent infringements whereas subsidies offered to iPhone, Samsung counsel claim give little cash to operators to shop around for other manufacturer devices, including Samsung.

Samsung last month filed a lawsuit against iPhone 4S alleging infringement of three wireless telecommunications related patent.
