Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc heading to Vodafone Australia

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc

The super-sexy, though somewhat bulky Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc is heading toward Australian shores where not one but two carriers are waiting to pick it up and offer it to their customers. The two carriers are Optus and Vodafone, both of which will start selling the Swedish-Japanese baby at some point next month (April).

And while we do not know how much Vodafone and Optus will ask for the device, we are betting demanding users will be able to get the Arc for next to nothing on some "not that cheap" contract. Alternatively, off-contract version may also be available with a price tag of about AU$600 or more.

The 9mm-thin Xperia Arc runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, while also rocking a 4.3-inch FWVGA Bravia technology screen, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus and HD video recording capability, Qualcomm 1GHz processor, an array of sensors and so on.
