The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play CDMA will hit Verizon e-shops pretty soon as the telecom has issued an online pre-order page. The Play can be yours for $199 on a two year contract or $499 retail. The phone will hit stores on 26 May, while pre-ordered devices will be shipping a day early, on 25 May. Should you want the Play on contract, you will have to cash out for a data plan as well.
The Xperia Play has a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, 512 MB of RAM, 5 MP snapper and, most importantly, slide-out gaming controls and PlayStation-certified badge on its chest. Check out our full review of the thing here. Mind you its the regular GSM version.
