There is a beta version of uTorrent 3.0 out and it brings a couple of great new features along with plenty other improvements as well. The biggest change is the streaming capability you can play music of video files before they are done downloading.

If distribution over BitTorrent becomes popular for shows, the streaming feature will see plenty of use. Using the new feature is pretty simple just hit the Stream button. Simplicity of use is a major point in uTorrent 3.0. The interface has been streamlined and there’s an option to minimize parts of the interface to let you focus on the important controls.

Also simple is sending files over BitTorrent to your friends drag and drop files to the area in the bottom left and you will get a link to download the files you can email or share on a social network.

Nokia has teamed up with Rovio to bring an exclusive Angry Birds Magic game on the NFC-capable Nokia Astound and C7. The free version of the game contains 20 levels, 15 of which are unlocked only via NFC communication with another device.

In case you did not know, Nokia wants to make it clear that the Nokia C7 has a NFC chip built right in and they plan to unleash it soon, probably with the Symbian Anna update.

Nokia has given Ovi Maps a major boost in the eye-candy department of Ovi Maps. We have seen 3D buildings before, but Nokia and C3 Technologies collaborated to scan entire cities down to the last detail and produce "photo-realistic" models.

I would not quite call it photo-realistic, but its certainly impressive. The new 3D models can be seen using the Ovi Maps 3D browser plug-in. Once you install it, you can check out 21 cities. The models were generated automatically using photographs of the cities taken from dozens of angles. C3 claim 8-12cm/pixel accuracy, though it seems much lower than that. Still, it looks amazing.

Easter is just around the corner and this can only mean one thing Angry Birds Seasons is getting its Easter fix. The update brings 15 new levels in the spirit of Easter. In addition to the funny looking rabbit hat-wearing green pigs, Rovio has included some Easter eggs for you to find and collect.
