When video games go big time and become part of pop culture, the result is often a horrible movie or two. Angry Birds is no exception. I have not exactly been keeping up-to-date on the latest cinematic hopes and dreams over at Rovio, but I know a movie is definitely something that could hit us in the future.
With that in mind, check out the video below for some light-hearted, easy-goin Sunday viewing. If you are a die-hard fan of the game, you will love it. If you hate the game, heck, you will probably like it too.

There is certainly no shortage of messaging apps for the iPhone. Disco Messenger by Google now joins the ranks of Beluga, GroupMe, Fast Society, WhatsApp, Kik Messenger and others for messaging platforms available for Apple smartphone.
Disco Messenger was created by a company called Slide, which was purchased by Google late last summer. The messaging app uses text messaging to get messages through, so if you are going to spring for this thing, be sure to have an unlimited SMS plan. You can create groups, add friends and just go nuts annoying everyone with random messages.
The app will give you a new number to text when you when you sign up, sort of like some of the international messaging apps available for the iPhone, that will be used when you are sending messages to your friends.
Tiny Wings has become an almost daily play for me. The new iOS game from Andreas Illiger is not only super-easy to play, its darn addictive. If you have the game loaded up on your iPhone, you will know exactly what I mean. With that in mind, some quick update news for those of you that are addicted as much as I am.
Earlier today, a Tiny Wings update popped up in the App Store, and its quite a deep revision. Its worth the update, and here is why key updates include:
- Game Center support
- More leaderboard categories
- A new nest, and new nests page
- Ability to play your own music
- Onscreen fever time counter
Besides those key updates, a number of changes to the game have been integrated as well. The 6th island is a little easier, and the title screen has been tweaked a bit. On top of that, there is the usual batch of bug fixes to make Tiny Wings more stable and playable than ever.
Today, Opera took another step forward to solidifying their place as the mobile web browsing leader with the release of the new versions of their two mobile browsers. Opera Mini 6 and Opera Mobile 11 are immediately available for download on a large number of platforms.
Opera Mobile 11 utilizes the full power of HTML5, Flash and the Opera Presto browser engine, which is used in the desktop version of the Opera 11 browser. Both the Mini 6 and Mobile 11 now support pinch-to-zoom, improved scrolling, panning and zooming, and a share button, which lets you quickly share any page to Facebook, vKontakte, My Opera, and others.
We took the two new browsers for a spin and we have to say we are pretty satisfied with their performance. We have seen smoother zooming and panning, but its good enough not to become irritating.
The Opera Mini 6 is available for the Android, Blackberry, Symbian/S60 phones and the J2ME framework. As for the Opera Mobile 11 you can get it for Android, Symbian, MeeGo, Maemo and Windows 7 desktop PCs NOT Windows Phone 7 Devices.
