Moto Atrix 3G

The Motorola Atrix 4G is now available in the US from several stores and predictably, the price at each store varies. Prices start from $129.99 with an AT&T contract or you can go for the bundle with the laptop dock included.

The cheapestMotorola Atrix 4G offer comes from from Walmart $129.99 with a new contract (starting from $59.99 per month). Next up is a tie between Amazon andRadioShack both of which offer the phone at $149.99. Finally, you can get it straight from AT&T for $199.99 with a 2 year plan starting from $39.99/month plus a mandatory $15/month data plan.

Before you do the math and see which plan suits you best, you should consider getting the laptop dock (or "Lapdock") bundled with the Atrix 4G for $499.99 from ATT. You will have to get it on a 2-year contract for a $45/month data plan. In case you don't want to get the pricy data plan the Lapdock alone costs $499.99 and you will have to get the phone separately.

RadioShack have the Motorola Atrix 4G with Lapdock bundle for a little less $479.99. Keep in mind that mail-in rebates apply to some of these prices.

Motorola XOOM Best Buy pre-order

Best Buy’s pre-order page for the Motorola XOOM is live and the highly anticipated tablet is slated to debut finally on February 24th. The Android 3.0 tablet will be available for $799 and is listed along with a variety accessories such as a portfolio case ($40), a dock ($50), a wireless keyboard ($70) and a slightly expensive HD speaker dock ($130). Though the high sticker price may shock some customers, Motorola Mobility CEO Sanjay Jha points to the 3G/4G connectivity of the device which boosts the XOOM above the less expensive $729 3G+WiFi Apple iPad with 32 GB of storage.

For $800, the Motorola XOOM will deliver a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 1280×800 resolution, a dual-core Tegra 2 processor clocked at 1 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, a five-megapixel rear-facing camera capable of HD recording, a two-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling, 1080P video playback. EV-DO rev.A connectivity, 32 GB onboard storage, microSD expansion up to 32 GB, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, aGPS/GPS with navigation, DLNA, and HDMI out. Interestingly enough, that unusual and annoying requirement that you have to buy one month of data to unlock WiFi access remains.

All this hardware horsepower will be driven by Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Honeycomb is Google tablet-optimized OS for its Android platform. A shown in the video below, this version of Android has several tablet-specific features such as a multi-pane email interface that enhances the user experience on a larger-display. This new mobile OS, combined with some hot hardware specs, makes the XOOM one of the top Android tablets to hit the market. If you are curious about the XOOM, you can check out our hands-on review. You may also want to swing by your local Verizon retailer as stores are reportedly receiving stock and setting up displays this weekend.

Many people who were dead set on grabbing the Motorola Xoom the second it landed on Verizonshelves may have gone back on their decision when they heard that it will cost $800 at launch. The terribly sexy and expensive tablet may have what it takes to take the crown as the best Android Honeycomb tablet, but the price just might not sit right with everyone. Well, Sanjay Jha decided to go on the record and explain the pricing of the tablet.

Apparently, the extra cost is due to the fact that you can upgrade the Xoom to give it 4G capabilities.

"We felt that our ability to deliver 50Mb/s would justify the $799 price point. It is 32GB with 3G and a free upgrade to 4G. Being competitive with iPad is important. We feel that from the hardware and capabilities we deliver we are at least competitive and in a number of ways better [than the iPad]."

Jha response does make some sense you basically gotta pay to play but I seriously doubt a majority of users will be seeing 50Mbps in real life situations.

For a company who prides themselves on offering choices, we are surprised that the Xoom doesn ot come with a non-4G LTE option to help make the price tag easier to swallow. The price point tells me that you have already paid the 4G module up front, and the actual installation of it will be free. Hopefully the rumor of Verizon keeping their LTE data plans the same as the 3G plans remains intact, because if it does not it would just be an extra fee to fully utilize your device.

So here we have what is apparently the Motorola Droid X 2, the alleged successor to last year Droid X.

The pictures are actually pretty clear for once, which makes a nice change and there are even some specifications to go with them. The screen is a 4.3 inch qHD affair running with a 960x540 resolution and there is a 1 GHz Tegra 2 dual-core under the bonnet with 1 GB of RAM to back it up. There is an 8 MP camera lurking on the back, but no front facing camera so no video calling.

Th phone was Anounced on the MWC11 and said to be released Later on March on a price of 599 USD (Not-included taxes and other side fees).

Motorola XOOM

Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha told Reuters that the Motorola XOOM will retail for $799 unsubsidized from Verizon. The WiFi-only version of the Android tablet will be priced around $600. These price points are slightly higher than the pricing for the Apple iPad which is the XOOM major competitor. The 3G version of the iPad is priced at $729 for the 32 GB version while the XOOM will be priced at $799.

The WiFi-only version matches the iPad prices with both models available for $599. Apple, though, undercuts the XOOM with its 16 GB version of the WiFi-only iPad which is available for $499. This 16 GB model is reportedly one of the top-selling iPad models presumably due to its lower price tag.
