Motorola announced the Atrix 4G for ATandT and our collective geek jaws dropped. Today we hear its coming to the UK too plus a couple shots more of that Laptop Dock along with three other docks.
Orange UK and Motorola Mobility released good news today the Motorola Atrix is coming to the UK as well, its not just for ATandT. Its just without that 4G moniker. They have also dropped a few juicy details on their European-spec Atrix.
The new Moto Atrix packs an impressive 4-inch qHD (540x960) screen and is based on a dual-core Tegra 2 with a whole gig of RAM. The 1930mAh battery offers plenty of juice but the more impressive feat is that the Motorola Atrix packs all that in under 11mm thickness and just 136 grams.
Whats more, the unusual Laptop Dock turns the Atrix into a full-blown 11.6-inch smartbook with a full QWERTY keyboard. The Dock also houses stereo speakers and a 36Wh 3-cell battery for up to 8 hours of battery life. The Laptop Dock weighs 1.1kg and with full Firefox 3.6 and Flash support your netbook has become all but obsolete.
None of US carriers was ignored and T-Mobile got CLIQ2. I think the device is a bit heavy (185 g), but we have to take into account that we get a side slider here. As the model will be accessible around 250 EURO in Europe and price change depend on which country you live in Europe and Also the Carrier plans too, we cannot complain about anything. A year ago it would have been a true Android flagship. The processor has 1 GHz, 512 MB of RAM are coupled with 1 GB of in-built memory and a 3.7-inch screen with the resolution of 854х480 accompanies a 5MP camera. It is a reliable mid market model, which boasts MOTOBLUR and offers traditional Motorola style.

DROID series was not forgotten. It is continuing in the form of BIONIC, which has an eloquent name. It will be available for Verizon Wireless and in Europe it will be called differently when launched in the middle of the 2nd quarter. Motorola made a wise move and offered two identical phones for rival carriers. You could have guessed that BIONIC is the same ATRIX with slightly changed characteristics. Instead of a 5 MP camera we have 8 MP, but the amount of RAM was slashed from 1 GB to 512 MB. On the other hand the platform remains the same and the handset has a dual core processor. I have not read anywhere that accessories for ATRIX may be suitable for BIONIC. This is unlikely to happen due to marketing consideration, which is sad.
The screen has the same resolution of 960х540 (qHD), but the size is 4.3-inch. Surprisingly, the weight of the gadget is 158 g. I do not know why it is heavier. The camera module is definitely not to blame. Pricewise this solution will be on par with ATRIX 4G for ATT.

One of the mostly anticipated product announcements at CES has undoutedly been Motorola Honeycomb powered tablet, the Motorola Xoom.
The device sports a dual core Tegra 2 running at 1 Ghz with a 10.1 inch screen and 4G connectivity. The device is headed for the American Verizon network although the 4G connectivity will not be available at launch, rather it will come about through an update planned for some time in Q2.
The device also supports 720p video recording, 1080p playback, 1280x800 resolution display, a 5 MP camera and 32 GB of internal storage. With all that going on you will no doubt be wondering about battery life, but its apparently been rated at 10 hours so not too shabby.
