Motorola upcoming Olympus device has been spotted again and this time she is lifting her petticoat a little further to reveal more of her secrets.
For starters the device sports an HDMI out slot in addition to the standard micro-USB slot found on Android handsets. The device is coming in very thin indeed and it looks like it will be shipping with Motorola's custom UI onboard, MotoBlur. The screen appears to be a 4 inch job and given the HDMI out port as well the LG Star looks to have a love rival.
Tegra 2 phones can not keep out of the stoplight it seems the Motorola Olympus has reappeared and got thoroughly photographed. It sports Android 2.2 Froyo, HDMI port and, of course, dual-core Tegra 2 setup.
The Motorola Olympus was bought by someone at a market of all places and to their surprise it was a working unit. What the photos show is an HDMI port (like we saw on the Tegra 2 phone from LG, two cameras and LED flash.
The Tegra 2 chipset has not been confirmed yet, but its what the rumors right now are saying. There os also talk that the Motorola MB860 Olympus will record Full HD (1080p) video but there's nothing solid on that either. As far as size goes, it's said to be bigger than the Motorola Defy, so we can expect a screen bigger than 3.7-inch.
Anyway, the screenshots reveal that the Olympus is running Android 2.2 Froyo with MOTOBLUR and this particular model is bound for ATT. The first leak however said that there's another Motorola Olympus in the works.
Motorola has some good news and some bad news the Motorola Defy will be getting Froyo in Q1 next year, the XT720 is forever stuck at Eclair and older models will not even see Donut. A table reveals all and breaks owners hearts.

Tegra 2 seems to be the hottest thing in Android town the Motorola Olympus is yet another dual-core Android that has entered the rumor mill. Apparently, there is a second Olympus too though there is not a shred of info on it.
The Tegra 2 platform is becoming commonplace in rumors of upcoming high-end droid phones and tablets. It offers a dual-core CPU and can record 1080p video, so the Motorola Olympus is bound to have impressive specs.
Right now however, we do not know any of them. On the outside, its similar to the Motorola Defy, but with a bigger screen. Since the Olympus is based on a completely different platform (Tegra instead of TI OMAP) the rest of the Defy specs don't really tell us much.
There have been a few phones recently that use name brand optics but Motorola Olympus is probably just the codename and does not indicate Olympus optics.
