We all saw the Motorola Milestone2 photos a while ago. As for the rugged Motorola DEFY, it is dust-scratch and waterproof, weighs only 118 grams and it sadly does not have Froyo onboard but it runs Android 2.1 Eclair. Its features an 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 2GB of internal storage. And on its back there is a 5 megapixel autofocus snapper.

Apparently, the recently announced Motorola MILESTONE 2 and the rugged Motorola DEFY are both coming to Vodafone Germany at some point. They have been spotted over at the Vodafone stand at this year's IFA fair which takes place in Berlin.

The two devices made their first public appearance a week ago and now, during the IFA in Berlin, they are paying Vodafone a short visit. This undoubtedly means that soon both of them will show up in the Vodafone stores across Germany (and maybe elsewhere).

The Limited Edition R2-D2 Motorola Droid 2 for Verizon, due to launch at the end of this month, has made a cameo appearance on Verizon website and it’s a beauty. Not only does the Droid 2 come with a special paint job that George Lucas makes a penny off of for every unit sold, but so does the dock. No info from Verizon on the price.

The specifications for the Droid 2, for those interested in rekindling their childhood memories of standing in line to witness science fiction history or proving their geek credibility to the other guys in your High Schools Audio/Video Club, you have got a 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor from Texas Instruments, 512 MB of RAM, 3.7 inch screen that has a higher resolution (480 x 854) than most other Android devices, 5 megapixel camera that does 720 x 480 resolution video recording, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11n WiFi, GPS, all running on Google latest version of Android: 2.2, code name FroYo. The European version of the Droid 2, called the Milestone 2, has 720p video recording, so there a chance that Verizon customers may receive an update to enable that capability, but do not be saddened if it does not happen.

The most distinctive feature of the Motorola XT300, though, is its four-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard. As for the glowing red Droid eye on screen, it could mean that the XT300 will head for the Verizon stores at some point but word is there will definitely be a GSM version of the thing. There is no word on the other Motorola XT300 specs so far.

The Motorola Milestone 2 is getting ready for launch - it will bring the taste of Froyo but also 720p video capture to Europe soon. The Motorola Defy is Europe-bound too, with a tough water/dust resistance and IP67 spec.

The Motorola Milestone 2 is the euro version of the Droid 2, but it has a bonus feature 720p HD video recording has been added to its 5MP snapper. It runs Android 2.2 Froyo with MOTOBLUR on top, which of course has Flash 10.1 out of the box. The Milestone 2 has a 1GHz processor and 512MB RAM.

The Motorola Milestone 2 will have an optional car dock and multimedia station if you want to make the best of it.
