HTC One mini 2

HTC has just Officially revealed the HTC One mini 2 which is the mini version of its latest flagship HTC One M8. The HTC One mini 2 has the same design and build quality as the M8 but lacks some of the key features and of course with lower performance comparing to its big brother, the M8.

The One mini 2 sports a much smaller chassis than the One M8, packing a 4.5" display with 720x1280 pixels of resolution. The rest of the specs make it a decent midranger, too, as the munchkin sports a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of internal storage (12 GB user-available). This time HTC has provided a microSD card slot, too, which alone makes it a worthy upgrade from last year's One mini.

Add to these the new 5 MP wide-angle front camera, the BoomSound stereo speakers at the front, plus a larger, 2100 mAh battery, and the One mini 2 becomes a serious contender in the crowded midrange category. The handset runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat, with Sense 6.0 sprinkled on top.

HTC B2

HTC B2 press render photo was leaked today via @evleaks. HTC B2 is tipped to be the successor of the Japan-only HTC J Butterfly. If this is the case, we can reasonably expect the device to be as feature-rich as it gets these days. The device has an M8-like design with the same Dual-font speakers.

The press image reveals the front of the device. A duo of stereo speakers and a front-facing camera unit are all details that the render reveals for the time being. No info about the device release date but it will hit japanese carriers very soon.

HTC M8 Ace

Interesting News. According to Engadget report, HTC will announce a budget smartphone with Plastic unibody and same Samsung Galaxy S5 Specifications but with a lower Price. The device will be called HTC M8 Ace and it aims to compete with Samsung's flagship in the market.

Offering exactly the same Specs as the S5 but with lower price will be a huge threat to Samsung. Since HTC is known for its Great Sense 6 UI which is far better then Samsung's TouchWiz, and also its amazing build quality even with plastic, HTC still have better build quality than Samsung in most of its devices. HTC will still have its own flagship device One M8 in the top.

Most importantly, the launch price of the HTC M8 Ace is said to be around $480.This means that the M8 Ace will significantly undercut the Samsung Galaxy S5 when available. Sounds like a tough competition is coming!

Will you replace your S5 with HTC M8 Ace ?

Will you prefer the M8 Ace over the Galaxy S5 ?

Desire 616

HTC Desire 616 is the first smartphone to come with an Octa-core processor from HTC. This processor seems to be a MediaTek MT6592 and it has a very high-performance CPU with low poer usage.

Chinese websites are reporting that the Desire 616 won't cost more than $210 (1,299 CNY) when it launches in April. While that's definitely a low price, it's not lower than the price of Xiaomi's Redmi Note, which appears to be one of the main competitors of the new Desire.

Although it has eight cores, the MediaTek MT6592 is still a cheap processor that's no match for high-end CPUs from Qualcomm, Nvidia, or Samsung. Still, the HTC Desire 616 is a decent handset for its price. It sports a 5-inch 720p display, while also featuring BoomSound speakers, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable internal memory, and an 8MP rear camera with LED flash.
