Sony deviced to pump-up the price of its new flag-ship, Sony Xperia Z2 in Germany. The device now sales at €679 up from €599 from a couple of days ago.

There's no official word from Sony as to why the price has gone up. However, we suspect recent reports of supply shortages and stock limitations for the company's latest flagship to be the culprit here. Xperia Z2 price in the UK is £564 SIM-free in major retailers.

New images of the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra surfaced today in both colors (Black XM50h, White XM50t). Sony has downgraded the specs to make this a more affordable phablet with a 6-inch screen and resolution of 720 x 1280. A quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon 400 powers the handset, which includes 1GB of RAM and 8GB of native storage.

 

 

A microSD slot is available if more memory is required. A 13MP snapper is on back and a 3000mAh battery keeps the lights on. Android 4.3 is pre-installed.
