With the battle for smartphone camera dominance still raging on, more and more smartphone manufacturers have continuously strived to one-up competing rivals when it comes to hardware, and as a result we’ve gotten some rather impressive phones from the likes of Xiaomi, Vivo and Oppo, for example. Speaking of the latter, it looks like Oppo’s now preparing to launch its upcoming premium flagship camera phone, the Find X9 Ultra.
An official teaser image posted by Oppo itself teases the X9 Ultra’s global launch date, which is scheduled for April 21st for select regions. Unsurprisingly, Oppo hasn’t given much information on the way of hardware, although it’s expected that the Find X9 Ultra will feature a camera setup with a 10x periscope telephoto lens, and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

Other rumoured specifications include a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, as well as a 7,050mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. That said, we’re bound to find out more details including price and availability once Oppo officially unveils the phone.
