Meet the NXTPAPER 11 Plus, TCL’s Newest Tablet

TCL’s NXTPAPER line of tablets have been some of the more unique approaches that we’ve seen to Android tablets, and the brand recently announced its latest addition to its tablet lineup with the new TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus. It does come with some familiar features, although TCL says that it’s equipped the new tablet with – surprise, surprise – AI features.

Let’s take a look at the outside first. You’re getting a fairly-large 11.5 inch NXTPAPER display with a 2.2K resolution, as well as a 120Hz refresh rate. TCL says that its NXTPAPER tablets are ideal for content consumption and productivity as the displays are designed to reduce overall eyestrain, with features such as Smart Eye Comfort Mode and Personalized Eye Comfort Mode.

The tablet runs on a MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, which is often a go-to SoC for midrange devices. There are also different RAM and storage configurations with either 8GB+256GB or 12GB+256GB, and a beefy 8,000 mAh battery with 33W charging speeds. You’ll also find single cameras on both the front and rear of the device.

As it is geared for productivity, the NXTPAPER 11 Plus supports stylus input, as well as AI features like text Assist and Writing Assist, which are designed to help you beat those deadlines with the help of Generative AI. Other AI-based features include Smart Translator, Real-time Subtitle, and Google’s own Circle to Search function.

The TCL NXTPAPER 11 Plus will retail for around $250.
