If you’re on the lookout for a new affordable Android tablet, then you might want to check out what Honor is offering—the company recently (and rather sneakily) launched the Honor Pad X7, a new budget tablet which costs just around $120, at least when converted.
Take one look at the X7, and there’s no mistaking its budget designation—in front is an 8.7-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a low pixel 1340 x 800 resolution, surrounded by pretty large bezels all around. It does come in an aluminum casing though, which adds a bit of a sleek in-hand feel. It’s also powered by a Snapdragon 680 chip, along with 4GB of RAM and expandable microSD storage.

The Pad X7 features a 7020 mAh battery, which given the underpowered processor and display should last for more than a day. The tablet should run fine for most light usage such as social media and web browsing, Netflix streaming, as well as a bit of casual gaming thrown in. Other details include an 8MP main camera and a 5MP rear camera, as well as Android 15 with Honor’s own UI and pre-loaded apps.
