Razer’s penchant for occasionally trying more quirky hardware setups isn’t exactly new, as seen with its “Kitty” line of gear. In fact, the company recently announced the launch of the Kraken Kitty V3, a new wired gaming and streaming headset designed for content creators and folks who are after something a bit unique.
Priced at $99.99, the headset is designed with plug-and-play USB-C connectivity, and can work with PC setups and mobile devices. Razer adds that it designed the Kitty V3 to be comfortable, with hybrid fabric and leatherette ear cushions for long-lasting comfort.

The headphones also come with stream-reactive kitty ears and earcups that also feature Razer Chroma RGB, with support for 16.8 million colors and customizable lighting effects via Razer’s Streamer Companion app. This allows the mechanical ears to react dynamically to alerts, emotes, and chat activity during usage; users can also connect the fixed USB Type-C cable to a portable power bank to keep the RGB illumination running on the go, along with three onboard presets for different lighting modes.
For communication and audio performance, Razer has equipped the Kitty V3 with the Razer HyperClear Cardioid Mic to minimize background noise, alongside proprietary TriForce 40 mm drivers and 7.1 Surround Sound for clear, detailed audio separation. You can check them out on Razer’s official website.
