It’s been a pretty busy day for Oppo – along with the launch of its latest Find X9 series phones, the company also announced the Oppo Pad 5, which packs some pretty capable hardware for just around 400-500 bucks when converted. It’s currently exclusive to Chinese markets, but what exactly does it come with?
First and foremost, the tablet is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ processor, and is available in several memory and storage options ranging from 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, up to a more generous 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It’s also powered by a massive 10420 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 67W.

In front, the Pad 5 features a large 12.1-inch screen with a sharp resolution at 3000×2120 pixels, although it does use an LCD panel instead of an OLED screen, which is something to keep in mind. The screen acts as your gateway to Android, which in this case takes the form of Oppo’s ColorOS 16.
Other features on the Oppo Pad 5 include an 8-megapixel camera on both the rear and the front, and a handful of colour models including purple, silver, and gray.
