Hands-on Video Shows Off the Galaxy Z TriFold in all its Glory

Samsung has just officially unveiled the Galaxy Z TriFold, and while it wasn’t exactly the first tech manufacturer to pull off this form factor, its bigger worldwide reach means that more people are essentially talking about it. So much so that it’s already appeared online in a video, which shows off its design and most of its features.

A video posted by product influencer Mrwhosetheboss shows hands-on action with the Z TriFold, including an unboxing video. The phone surprisingly comes with an included charger, in addition to a bundled case and a rather generous serving of cardboard.

We’ve pretty much covered the Galaxy Z TriFold’s specs here, but there are some interesting details shown in the video. This includes a built-in warning that flashes and tells users how to properly fold the device, as well as its actual thickness when it’s all closed up. As it uses a softer panel for the inner screen, the video also claims that the device’s 10-inch folding screen picked up scratches rather easily, which is concerning as Samsung promised better durability this time around.

The Z TriFold also features a UI that can mimic desktop interfaces, similar to what you’d get on Samsung’s tablets for example. The device doesn’t arrive for US markets until 2026, but it’s certainly interesting to see it in action way before its actual market release date.
