Meego OS For Nokia N900 is updated regularly on the MeeGo Wiki for developers. As we all know the Nokia N900 is the first ARM device for Meego and Nokia want to make this the First phone that will get a MeeGo1.1 Update a Document we found on MeeGo WiKi shows the release Stages of the MeeGo1.1 and its Updates from 1.0.9.9 to 1.1.0.0.

MeeGo Development During September is Focusing on 1.0.90 and Begging the Release Candidate of MeeGo 1.0.99 during late September and Early October then a week After, the release candidate 2 and 3 of MeeGo 1.0.99 with the Preparation for the Final Release of the MeeGo 1.1.0.0 on October 21 - 27. Of course, the Nokia N900 will get the Update During that week-Period from Thursday (21/10/10) to Wednesday (27/10/10).

Until Now there is no word from Nokia on the Release date of the Next MeeGo Tablet (Nokia N9) which has been Rumored that it will be Arriving later this Year with MeeGo1.1 onboard with a 1Ghz CPU. Nokia today announced that Anssi Vanjoki, Executive Vice President and head of Nokia Mobile Solutions unit, has resigned from the company. Vanjoki resignation comes as something of a surprise, considering the company will host its annual Nokia World show in London starting tomorrow, and new smartphones are expected to be announced. Vanjoki will remain with Nokia for six months. Vanjoki exit comes on the heels of the replacement of Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo, the President and CEO of Nokia with Stephen Elop the President of Microsoft Business Division. and the NEW Nokia CEO.

This is the Right time for Microsoft upcoming Windows Phone 7 launch and closely after HTC first Windows Phone 7 smartphone was much likely approved, the Global Certification Forum (GCF) approved the next Windows Phone 7 the (LG E900 Optimus 7).

According to the approval, the LG E900 will support quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as dualband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA at 900/2100 MHz. Some Leaked Specs indicated that the E900 will feature a Qualcomm QSD8650 CPU at 1 GHz, a 3.7-inches WVGA capacitive touchscreen as well as a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with HD video recording capabilities.

BAD NEWS! A Report From Microsoft (still unConfirmed yet) that says it will set limits on the Windows phone 7 features to non-English, French, Italian, German and Spanish language markets (EFIGS countries) which are also the initial launch languages for WP7.

And these limitations are the following:

• Marketplace functionality will be limited
• No Xbox Live service
• No Zune support
• Only web and e-mail content could be displayed on native language without localized phone menus
• Just default keyboards for starters, no local characters
• No copy/paste [global limitation]

Some of this is not too surprising as this comes down to infrastructure support and roll-out due to Microsoft not investing in localized servers/structure. Those Limitations for EFIGS countries is something Microsoft has been doing behind the scenes for months in preparation for WP7. But it could affect the selling of the Windows phone 7 there!

 

An Interesting Documents leaked by TmoNews tells all about the New T-Mobile my-touch Called mytouchHD. The Document has a photo for the Phone and Also the Specs of the mytouchHD and the Key features too. mytouch series is the Most Popular series on T-mobile phones. This phone will have an Android Froyo 2.2 on a 1Ghz chip and a Swype QWERTY.
