Vivo X300 Series Goes Global with 200 MP ZEISS Cameras

Vivo’s keeping smartphone photographers on their toes. The X300 series has officially made its global debut, bringing serious camera hardware to international markets. After initially launching in China, the X300 and X300 Pro are now available worldwide with 200 MP ZEISS imaging technology that could shake up the flagship photography game.

The global launch marks Vivo’s 30th anniversary, and the company’s pulling out all the stops. Both models feature comprehensive upgrades across imaging, performance, and design, with the ZEISS partnership delivering ultra-clear capabilities that put these phones in direct competition with Samsung, Apple, and Google.

The X300 Pro debuts with a 200 MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera featuring the upgraded Ultra-Sensing Sensor HPB. Its 50 MP ZEISS Gimbal-Grade Main Camera boasts a large 1/1.28″ sensor with industry-leading CIPA 5.5-rated stabilization. The Pro model also includes the new Pro Imaging Chip VS1, which significantly improves image output speed, clarity, and noise reduction.

The standard X300 is equipped with a 200 MP ZEISS Main Camera featuring CIPA 4.5-rated stabilization. Its ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera uses the new LYT-602 sensor, offering higher dynamic range and lower power consumption. Both models feature a 50 MP ZEISS Wide-Angle Front Camera with autofocus. Camera partnerships between smartphone makers and optics companies have become increasingly common in the flagship space.

Together with the Vivo X300 global launch, OriginOS made its international debut. The system features Origin Island for intelligent suggestions, Flip Cards for dynamic lock-screen interactions, and integration with Google Gemini for enhanced productivity. The vivo Office Kit enables phone-to-PC mirroring and seamless file transfers.

As for the rest of the specs, under the hood, users can find the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip. This chipsets is built on TSMC’s N3P process, featuring a 3rd Gen all-big-core CPU design and 12-core G1-Ultra GPU. The X300 Pro packs a 6510 mAh battery, while the X300 offers 6040 mAh. Both phones also support 90W FlashCharge and wireless charging. Both models feature IP68 and IP69 ratings with 8T LTPO displays reaching 2000 nits peak brightness.
