Samsung, Call of Duty Team Up for Early-Access Gaming Privileges

Korean tech giant Samsung is no stranger to gaming, having invested a lot into hardware and software applications for more gamer-centric products over the years. Most recently though, the company announced that it’s teamed up with Activision as the official display and audio partner for the latter’s upcoming AAA action game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, teasing an expanded suite of connected features ahead of the game’s official release.

With that in mind, the exclusive partnership will promote Samsung TVs, monitors, soundbars, and Wi-Fi speakers as the “primary devices” of choice for experiencing the upcoming first-person shooter. Modern Warfare 4 will also integrate HDR10+ GAMING technology to enhance color accuracy and contrast, alongside native support for a 32:9 super ultrawide aspect ratio tailored for Samsung’s Odyssey G9 monitors.

Additionally, Samsung Gaming Hub users can stream the Call of Duty: NEXT event live on August 21 at 9:00 AM PST directly from Gaming Hub’s main dashboard. Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung states:

We are pleased to be the official TV, monitor, soundbar and Wi-Fi speaker partner for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, bringing players a more immersive experience through Samsung’s premium display and audio technologies. We will continue working with leading developers to strengthen gaming experiences across our display portfolio.

Samsung is also offering Early Access Beta codes for Modern Warfare 4 via the Samsung Promotion app, giving selected players access from August 21 through August 25 before the Open Beta opens to the public on August 28. Attendees at Gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany will also get the first hands-on preview of the title running on Samsung Odyssey monitors at the Samsung booth from August 26 to August 30.
