After months of leaks, Xiaomi’s new high-end Redmi phone is now official—announced earlier today for Chinese markets, the Redmi K90 Pro Max builds up on the tech giant’s ever-growing smartphone portfolio, with some pretty impressive specs in the mix.
Priced starting at around $560 (when converted), the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, along with Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 3 software version on top of Android 16. On the outside, the phone comes with a massive 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and gets bright at up to of 3500 nits; there’s also Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass for protection.

Going back on the inside, the K90 Pro Max is available in several storage and RAM configurations starting with 12GB of RAM paired with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, with an option of up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. There’s also a large 7,560mAh battery which can charge at a maximum of 100W charging speeds, in addition to 50W wireless and 25W reverse wireless charging support.
On the back you’ll find a triple-50MP camera system which includes a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 102˚ field of view, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and OIS. Meanwhile, selfies are handled by a 32MP front-facing camera. The phone also comes with Bose-tuned audio, which was revealed earlier before its launch.
The K90 Pro Max is available in a range of different colours including Black, White, Denim Blue, and a special Lamborghini White edition.
