If you’re a frequent user of Gemini Notebook, then you might want to check out these new updates from Google, which give users more creative control over Slide Decks and Video Overviews for their creative projects.
For one, the platform now provides users with a guided co-creation flow based directly on their sources. For example, asking Gemini Notebook to generate slides or a video overview in the chat will then give users suggested topics for their artifacts before proceeding.
Users can also activate the new Review toggle, which lets them review the plan in the studio panel via “Review outline notes” for slides and “Review producer notes” for video. This then allows users to adjust the visual style, swap scene orders, or add an executive summary before generation begins. Once finalized, users can then select “Proceed” to render the final artifact.
Finally, Google adds that users can specify their preferences in the initial prompt to skip straight to the review flow. Alternatively, users who prefer a fast, automated output can bypass the review toggle entirely by generating artifacts directly through the studio panel as usual.
