While LG has long been out of the smartphone game, the company has continued to strengthen its product lineup with a diverse and pretty large selection of smart home appliance and displays. Take for example the new LG Smart Monitor Swing, which is now available for pre-order starting at $1,299.99.
As you can probably tell from its name, one key feature of the Smart Monitor Swing is its flexible stand, which works in tandem with a wheeled base that allows users to pretty much position it wherever they deem necessary, as well as an adjustable height that works with both sitting and standing desk setups.
As for the monitor itself, it features a 32-inch IPS touchscreen with a 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution, with up to 350 nits of brightness and a 60Hz refresh rate. Given the considerably high price tag, it looks like LG is leaning more towards the monitor’s flexibility rather than the actual display specs.
It does run on LG’s webOS system though, which gives it a bit of “oomph” in terms of software, allowing users to stream content, connect to WiFi setups, in addition to the age-old function of serving as a “standard” monitor. you also get USB-C connectivity with 65W power delivery, and HDMI support.
