The OPPO Find X9 Pro might end up being one of the most stacked flagship phones of the year. According to new leaks, OPPO plans to equip the phone with MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500 chipset and a massive 7,500mAh battery. That’s a lot of power, especially for a premium device.
The Dimensity 9500 is expected to be unveiled in September, right before Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit. OPPO usually isn’t far behind when it comes to using the latest silicon. Last year, the Find X8 series went global in October, so a similar timeline for the Find X9 Pro makes sense.
Battery life could be one of the biggest selling points of the OPPO Find X9 Pro. A 7,500mAh battery would make it the largest we’ve seen in a flagship-tier phone so far. While realme is also working on phones with similar battery sizes, those tend to fall outside of the premium bracket.
Another standout rumor is the 200MP periscope camera. Digital Chat Station claims it’ll join a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP68/69 ratings, and 50W wireless charging. Some of these aren’t new for OPPO. The fingerprint sensor appeared in the Find X8 Ultra and OnePlus 13, and IP ratings have been creeping into more models lately.
Expect Android 16 and ColorOS 16 to ship out of the box. And don’t be surprised if a few of these features trickle into the next OnePlus flagship too, minus the MediaTek chip and the extra-large battery due to regional differences in regulations.
