Vivo’s New Pad 5e Packs a Massive Battery and a Capable Chip

We’re at a point in time where we’re finally seeing more and more decent options for Android tablets. Take for example Vivo, which introduced its new Vivo Pad 5e – priced at just below 300 bucks when converted, the tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and a massive 10,000 mAh battery.

That in mind, that’s not the only thing that the tablet has got going for it. The Pad 5e also features a12.1-inch screen with a sharp 2.8K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, which should make for an ideal device for content consumption and general day-to-day app use. For memory and storage, the Pad 5e starts at 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB of internal storage, and runs on Vivo’s custom OriginOS 5 Android skin. Connectivity is handled by WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4.

As for its cameras, the Vivo Pad 5e includes a modest hardware setup which consists of an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera for video calls and selfies. Vivo is also selling a handful of accessories for the device, which include a cover case, detachable keyboard, as well as a stylus.
