PlayStation fans, mark your calendars—Sony recently confirmed the return of its State of Play broadcast, which is scheduled on Tuesday, June 2. The upcoming presentation will deliver over an hour of updates, major announcements, and brand-new gameplay reveals from several of Sony’s partner studios worldwide.
With that being said, the showcase will feature a deep-dive look at Marvel’s Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games. Sony says that fans can expect a detailed breakdown of the upcoming title, with a focus on in-game combat mechanics alongside new story details. Sony also confirmed that Wolverine is headed to gamers worldwide on September 15.
Fans can watch the presentation live on Tuesday, June 2, starting at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET / 11:00 PM CEST, or on June 3 at 6:00 AM JST. The broadcast will stream simultaneously on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels, and will feature an English audio track with Japanese subtitles available.
In other recent PlayStation news, Sony recently confirmed that it will be increasing the price of PlayStation Plus subscriptions for new customers in select regions, starting on May 20. The company explains that the price hikes are due to ongoing market conditions—this now bumps up the baseline cost of a one-month subscription to $10.99 USD, while a three-month subscription will see prices adjust to $27.99.
